Five imaging modalities on one floor of a Pasadena medical office building.

A 4,000-square-foot outpatient imaging suite in a 52,000-square-foot Pasadena medical office building. PET/CT, closed-bore and open MRI, digital X-ray, and ultrasound share one floor with a hot lab, uptake rooms, and a separate waiting zone.

The MRI magnet came in through a removed exterior window. RF and lead shielding are built in, and patients, staff, and nuclear medicine move separately. Warm finishes and backlit sky panels are meant to calm patients.
