A shared school and city recreation center on a magnet campus.
A 52,000-square-foot recreation center replaces a non-functioning gymnasium at the heart of the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES), an LAUSD magnet school. LAUSD and the City’s Department of Recreation & Parks share it, so its athletic and performing arts spaces serve students by day and the neighborhood after hours.
