A 535,000-square-foot headquarters at Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB) in El Segundo for the Air Force group that designs and procures space-based weaponry. Two new buildings and a reconfigured third form a campus around a shaded central plaza, with a 17,000-square-foot child development center. Precast concrete bands and continuous ribbon glazing wrap the complex; a cantilevered glass prow marks the main entry.
