A food hall whose shops push out from the facade.
Small structures push out from Freemarket’s facade, breaking the frontage of this 20,000-square-foot food hall in Playa Vista’s Runway district into shop-sized pieces. Plain industrial materials keep the eye on volumes and goods.
As Architect of Record for the concept and every tenant space, Serrao Architecture worked with Los Angeles County Public Health to bring the food tenants online under one program.
